Zorro!

Zorro is our latest addition to our kitty family (much to the protest of two cats...).
3.5 month old Maine Coon. Freaking adorable ball of energetic love.

Now to just get George and Chaos to chill out... Chaos has taken to hiding to ignore his existence and George has taken to growling and chasing him in anger. =/ Kind of sad for a kitten that just wants to play.
And will accidentally attack George, thinking he's playing with Fred.

Now to get started on my Futurama swap things! No last minute crafting this time...

ATCs! Moar, I say, MOAR!

I made this adorable chibi/baby Nightcrawler for the Ongoing January ATC swap on Crafter for her them of "X-Men."

I've always been a huge fan of Nightcrawler.
Possible one of my ultimate favorites...

Anyway, prismacolor colored pencils, blending tool, pen, cardstock...

Same swap on Crafter with the theme "Alien Belief/Fact", so I went with a President John F. Kennedy quote of "The U.S. Air Force assures me that UFO's pose no threat to National Security." with a cute little alien in the background.

Prismacolor colored pencils, cardstock on cardstock on scrapbook paper backed by cardstock, pens...

This is for my latest swap on Swap-Bot.

He'll be going out today.

Little seahorse.

Prismacolor colored pencils, pen, blending tool, cardstock... The usual.

He's just unusually cute.

ATC Catch Ups

Mythical Creatures: Cthulhu swap

I love this adorable little Cthulhu. <3
Inspired by DeviantArt, I'm sure... But adorable, none the less.

Futurama Swap section for Leela and Nibbler.

Anime-style Leela.

Adorable sleeping Nibbler.

"Gengar used CREEPY SMILE. It was super effective!"

I think he's adorable.
I had to do a make up for the Pokemon swap in November... It got lost in the mail. Tragedy!

Everything is prismacolor pencils, blending tool, and a pen. Cardstock.
The usual.

Zombie Escape Plan Swap SPOILERS

I was so excited when I found this swap. I think I went a little bit "beyond" what was expected...

Instead of making just a "list" in Word Processor or something, I had originally designed it in Photoshop, with "paintbrush splatter" backgrounds to look like blood splatter. Unfortunately, Josh's printer HATES cardstock and had no color. So I decided to measure, cut out, and then write out the lists myself on cardstock. Then I sketched out lame blood splatter. But... I like it.
I drew out the "local" map for our escape plan to an orchard.

Instead of just listing it, I decided to make it into a flip book type... And to make sure the local map stayed together, that's included.
I had to include a full state map, full of my escape route and where I think there will be major infection areas... I was too lazy to take a picture of it open.

And the zombie ATC is the "small extra" we had to include. It says "BRAINS." in the background. It's probably one of my favorites so far!

Seriously.

Probably one of my favorite ATCs thus far.

Magic the Gathering Swap SPOILERS

I participated (as in it sends out Monday/tomorrow) in a Magic the Gathering themed swap on Craftster.

This is a purple, wire-wrapped D20 keychain.

I made a Magic the Gathering mana-inspired Ninni as well!

Angel and Merfolk tokens/ATCs.

The whole thing!

2 dice bags, an I'd Tap That screenprinted shirt (designed by me, made by Brandon), the Ninni, D20 keychain, and the tokens.

All in all, it's something I'm proud of.

=D

Swapping My Heart Away

I don't want to post TOO many spoilers for my swaps... Considering I have about 8 packages/letters to go out on Monday. Huzzah, huzzah!

Journal, Zombie Escape Plan, and Magic the Gathering swap are actual packages, so that leaves 5 actual letters with ATCs to go out. Also, I ran out of stamps. It's a catastrophe.

But anyway, here's an ATC from a Catty Swap on swap-bot. I had two more, so here's the other two...

I'm a big fan of the Christmas cat. =D So cute.

These are done with a mix of prismacolor colored pencils, pen, lovely scrapbook paper, cardstock, and the blending stump.

I received this journal from a lady in Ireland for a journal swap on Livejournal.

Mine is going out Monday, but I decided to spruce it up a bit.
(And she doesn't know my blogspot blog... =D )

It started life as a plain blue notebook from the dollar store...
I was poor and in a hurry when I started it.

It's half full.
Full of ranting and musing and general awesomeness.

And a handmade doodled cover. I'm a fan of it.

Tentacles, because I love tentacles.
Cat, because there's lots of rants about cats.
A pile of poo, because it felt like that's all I was fixing for awhile.
A pile of moving boxes, because I'm STILL going through a million and a half boxes from moving.
Hearts, because occasionally I even wrote that life was good.
Betsy's Bitching... Because that's what I do. =D

Minor Update

We adopted kitties when we moved in December.

The two orange ones are males, Fred and George (after Fred and George Weasley... The whole mischievous twin thing), then the black one is female, Chaos.

My facebook feed has been spamming pictures of them since we got them. Almost daily.
Y'know. In a folder labeled "Teh House", but is actually a folder full of cat photos.

And then this is Josh and I on New Year.

After he burped in my face.
Supposedly on accident.
I claim shenanigans.

I have a lot of pictures of things from swaps I've been working on, but... I'll post them when I actually get them all sent off.
